• Drive the Ready Mix Truck to and from plant and work sites, hose down the mixer truck between trips and handle uneven and slippery surfaces at plant and sites.
• Unload mixer truck loads, attach extension chutes weighing 30–50 pounds to the end of the primary chute.
• Perform regular lifting of 25–50 pounds, oil, grease, service equipment, adjust operating settings and perform related duties such as lifting and moving transported materials.
• Climb, stoop, bend, squat, stretch, drive, sit, shift gears, pull, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers and shovels.
• May be exposed to extremes of hot or cold weather; overtime is required, and must pass DOT physical/drug screen and adhere to Company safety policy and rules at all times.

Applicant must meet Preferred Materials Driver Qualification Standards and possess a Commercial Drivers’ License with necessary endorsements in accordance with 49 CFR 383.91: combination vehicle (Group A or

B). The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.

• Must read, write and communicate effectively.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training is preferred but not required.
• Class A or B driver’s license.
• Current medical card (or ability to obtain one).
• No DUI’s within the last 2 years.
• Minimal moving violations.
• Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain respectful relationships with customers and staff.
• Ability to read and interpret written information such as safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
