Part‑time, seasonal position located in Punta Gorda, Florida. The role is based in Fort Myers. Goodwill of Southwest Florida is committed to serving people with disabilities and disadvantages by offering life‑changing opportunities to achieve independence.

Front‑line role representing Goodwill Industries to the public. Primary duties include receipt, recording, and sorting of donations for processing through the Kaizen system. Full compliance to Kaizen guidelines and 5‑minute drills is required. Additional duties may include processing, cleaning, customer service, building fixtures/equipment, and other tasks instructed by supervisors.

• Receive, record, and sort donations
• Process donations through Kaizen system
• Maintain compliance with Kaizen guidelines and audit procedures
• Assist with cleaning, fixture/equipment maintenance, and other duties as assigned

• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience in retail and/or stock handling (preferred)

• Mobility to turn, lean, kneel or bend, and stand for long periods
• Ability to see and recognize colors
• Basic math skills
• Lift at least 40 pounds frequently; occasional team lift up to 100 pounds
• Tolerance for temperature and climate fluctuations

Salary: $14.00 per hour
