Physical Therapist Assistant - $12,000 bonus
Physical Therapist Assistant position in Punta Gorda, FL.
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 2310 S Tamiami Trl, Units 3113 & 3117, Punta Gorda, FL 33950
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay: Starting at $27+/hr, based on experience
Incentives: $12,000 sign‑on bonus + $200/month student‑loan repayment
Our outpatient center in Punta Gorda is seeking a Full‑Time PTA to join our growing team. You will work alongside one experienced PT, treating primarily orthopedic cases with opportunities in vestibular rehab, sports medicine, industrial therapy, fall prevention, and ACL programs. New grads and experienced PTAs are welcome.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high‑quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
- CPR certification.
