Role Overview
The Personal Shopper / VIP Styling Concierge at Broadway delivers a white-glove, highly personalized shopping experience across categories. This role is designed for individuals who style people, not products —curating complete looks, routines, and solutions while making customers feel valued, understood, and indulged.
The role blends fashion sensibility, lifestyle understanding, and service excellence to offer customers a VIP experience inside the store , guiding them seamlessly across fashion, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle categories.
Key Responsibilities
VIP Customer Experience
Offer a warm, premium, concierge-style welcome to customers.
Understand customer intent, preferences, occasion, lifestyle, body type, skin tone, and comfort level.
Deliver a seamless, end-to-end VIP shopping journey, eliminating overwhelm and decision fatigue.
Ensure customers feel attended to, unrushed, and personally cared for throughout their visit.
Cross-Category Styling & Curation
Style customers holistically across fashion, accessories, beauty, skincare, wellness, and lifestyle.
Create complete looks and curated selections aligned to customer personality and needs.
Use understanding of skin tones, undertones, textures, and personal preferences to support styling decisions (not product-led selling).
Suggest combinations that enhance confidence, comfort, and personal expression.
Personal Styling Expertise
Style for different body types, occasions, and usage scenarios.
Balance trends with practicality and individual comfort.
Offer honest, respectful, and confidence-building guidance.
Assist with fittings, trials, coordination, and styling tips.
Brand Navigation & Store Collaboration
Act as the customer's single point of contact across the store.
Coordinate with brand staff and store teams to ensure a smooth experience.
Introduce customers to relevant brands, collections, and new discoveries.
Support store events, styling sessions, curated appointments, and private shopping experiences.
Relationship Building & Loyalty
Build long-term relationships with customers through trust and service quality.
Encourage repeat visits through memorable experiences and personal attention.
Capture customer preferences to enable better future styling sessions.
Requirements & Qualifications
Formal education in Fashion, Styling, Design, or related disciplines is mandatory
(NIFT, fashion schools, design institutes, or equivalent programs preferred.)
1–4 years of experience in:
Personal styling, fashion retail, luxury retail, concierge services, or clienteling roles.
Proven experience in:
Styling real people (not just mannequins or visual merchandising).
Understanding body types, skin tones, personal tastes, and lifestyle contexts.
Delivering premium, relationship-led service.
Strong aesthetic sense with a people-first mindset.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Naturally warm, poised, and detail-oriented personality.
