We're looking for a Staff Accountant professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, loves working with data, and is eager to grow.

Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

Manage Fixed Assets:
Maintain controls, record acquisitions/disposals, run depreciation, and ensure accurate fixed asset accounting.
Project Cost Tracking:
Monitor project-related costs, compare with budgets, and close project accounts upon completion.
Reconciliations:
Prepare and review reconciliations for fixed assets and general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly financial statements, audit schedules, and support internal/external audit requirements.
Asset Reviews:
Conduct periodic physical verification, impairment reviews, and assess potential obsolescence of assets.
Policy & Compliance:
Recommend updates to accounting policies and support tax-related reporting for the US and other regions.
General Ledger Operations:
Perform complex accounting calculations, handle high‑volume data reconciliations, and maintain GL accuracy.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal departments, building strong relationships to achieve shared financial goals.
Process & System Improvements:
Support special projects, system enhancements, and assist in annual budgeting activities.

Skills

To ensure you're set up for success in this role, it would be ideal that you have the following skillset & experience:

Bachelor's degree required in Finance or Accounting,
C.A. / C.A. Intermediate preferable.
Experience in Fixed Assets Module.
Oracle R12 experience a must.
Advanced Excel skills preferred.
Familiarity with Oracle, Micro Strategy, One Stream., Plan View, PSR and/or other related systems a plus.
