Palmonas is a fast-growing modern jewellery brand known for its design-led approach, premium quality, and customer-first experience. We are expanding our retail presence and are looking for a customer-facing Jewellery Designer to support customised jewellery requirements across our Pune stores.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Jewellery Designer who will work full-time at our retail stores, interact directly with customers, and support customised jewellery orders. The role requires frequent travel across Pune stores, especially those with higher gold sales, and close coordination with internal design and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Interact with customers at retail stores to understand customised jewellery requirements
Assist customers with jewellery design consultations and recommendations
Create quick design concepts and sketches using Procreate
Coordinate quotations, pricing, and order confirmations on the same day
Prepare accurate CAD briefs and provide clear design guidance to manufacturing teams
Work closely with CAD, production, and retail teams to ensure smooth execution from design to delivery
Support store teams in closing high-value gold and customised jewellery orders
Ensure brand standards and professional appearance at all times
Required Skills
Excellent communication and customer-handling skills
Strong knowledge of gold jewellery and gemstones
Ability to create quick digital sketches (Procreate preferred)
Basic understanding of CAD processes and jewellery manufacturing
Strong coordination and follow-up skills
Experience & Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in jewellery and gemstone design
Graduate from a recognised design institute or diploma in jewellery/design
Experience in customer-facing or retail jewellery roles is a plus
Dress Code
Formal attire, as the role involves full-time presence at retail stores
