Role Overview
The Planning Lead will be responsible for  demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment  across channels to ensure optimal stock availability while maintaining healthy inventory metrics. This role will work closely with  Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Sales  teams.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze  sales trends, seasonality, and demand patterns  across online and offline channels
Own  demand forecasting and inventory planning  for all product categories
Define  ordering cycles , plan replenishments, and release purchase orders as per business requirements
Monitor and improve  inventory health metrics  such as DOH, OOS, sell-through, slow & non-moving inventory
Work closely with the  Merchandising team  for NPD planning and launch readiness
Ensure optimum stock availability during  campaigns, festive periods, and new launches
Drive actions to liquidate or rebalance  aging and excess inventory
Maintain accurate  planning, inventory, and ordering data  for audits and reporting
Create dashboards and reports for  weekly/monthly business reviews
Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure timely replenishment and fulfilment
Required

Skills & Qualifications
6–10 years of experience in  Planning / Inventory Planning / Demand Planning
Experience in  D2C, retail, jewellery, fashion, or lifestyle brands  preferred
Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in  Excel / Google Sheets
Exposure to  ERP, WMS, or planning tools  (SAP, Netsuite, Oracle, etc.)
Strong understanding of  inventory KPIs  (DOH, sell-through, fill rate, ageing)
Ability to work in a  fast-paced, high-growth environment
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
