V.M.C.​/C.M.M. Operator

Position: V.M.C./ C.M.M. Operator
Machine Operation:
Operate Vertical Machining Centers (V.M.C.) or Coordinate Measuring Machines (C.M.M.) as per production requirements and safety standards.
Program Handling:
Interpret and execute CNC programs; make necessary adjustments to tools, offsets, and settings to maintain dimensional accuracy.
Quality Inspection:
Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs to ensure components meet technical specifications and tolerances.
Tool Management:
Select and manage appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures for efficient machining operations.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical or program-related issues to prevent downtime.
Documentation:
Maintain production logs, inspection records, and machine usage reports as per company procedures.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with quality, design, and production teams to resolve machining or measurement-related issues.

Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.
2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in V.M.C. or C.M.M. operation.
Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using measuring tools.
Knowledge of CNC programming is an added advantage.
