What You'll Do

Inventory Management Roles & Responsibility

Should be able to work independetly to drive Inventory reduction projects by working closely with buyers / Planners in GSC COE & business by effectively utilising Inventory profile, Water tank, Swapping tool & other advanced Inventory modelling & Analytics tools

 Should be able to contribute to the Solid gold initiatives & proactviely drive it's deployment within the allocated business / division

 Should be able to set up process & define criterias around modelling Inventory with Entitlement , Segmentation, Assortment & Calssification (ABC/XYZ) approaches

 Solid understanding of Supply Chain Analytics & Advanced Inventory Management & optimisation models/ techniques like Segmentation, Entitlement & Assortment

 Should be able to lead & Independently work on global projects across various supply chain areas & is able to forge relationship with stakeholders across cross functional hierarchies

 Hands on experience in Power BI with DAX modelling, SQL & Excel with VBA (Having understanding of cloud system like Microsoft Azure will be an added advantage)

 Work in collaboration with digital team to rationalize Supply Chain & Inventory reporting & drive productivity improvement initiatives via digitalization of SC processes

 Demonstrate strong functional knowledge & working experience related to materials management & detailed understanding of concepts related to supply planning, replenishment planning, MRP/ material planning & inventory performance measures like ITR & DOH

Enhance & support the materials management initiatives and possess a good understanding of P2P cycle,. supply planning concepts, inventory management concepts and ERP system lanscape.

Work on on materials management processes and drive improvement projects with a consultative approach

 Prepared inventory projection and strategy with sites to achieve inventory turns target.

 Proposed mitigation plans in terms of parts that need to be in MRP, Kanban & VMI to meet inventory turns targets.

  Preparation of Annual Inventory assortments using decision Tree Model.

 Calculation of Order line coverage,Safety Stock/ROP, DOH & has solid knowledge around KPI's related to inventory

 Daily monitoring of global inventory reports and circulating to the concerned team.

 Provide data analysis to set-up stock parameters and update in case of new forecasted demand

 Prepare data analysis of inventory aging and type (high runner/slow movers) to assist decisions on excess and obsolete items for sell-off activities.

 Responsible for inventory reporting for Raw, WIP & GIT at global / division level.

 Understand customer requirement and quick turnaround time on adhoc requests.

 Provide data analyses that minimize/avoid scrapping risk across all Business Units.

 Work in close cooperation with the Materials Planning and Supply Chain Coordinators from SC/Inventory team on recommendations and decisions by product line and by warehouse location.

 In Depth Knowledge of SAP, P2P Transactions, Business Intelligence tools (OBIEE) or any other standard ERP systems / tools

Responsibilities

 All other required Material, Logistic & Inventory responsibilities.

 Project management expertise with experience of driving improvement project in area of materials management in a cross functional, global environment.

Qualifications

Graduate /Post Graduate especially MBA (Operations) with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience related to Inventory Management, Material Planning & supply chain management in global environments

CPIM certification will be an added advantage.

Solid understanding of Inventory Mgt, MRP, SIOP & demand / supply challenges

Proficie skills level in MS Office:
Advanced Excel and Power Point presentations.
Proficient and good hands on exposure on ERP (Preferred Oracle, SAP, Mfg. Pro)
Preferred exposure into Power BI, SQL and Power

BI query building.
