Job Summary
The Inventory Planning Lead will own end-to-end inventory planning and control across categories and channels. This role will focus on demand forecasting, stock optimization, replenishment planning, and cross-functional coordination to ensure high availability with minimal excess or aging inventory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute inventory planning strategies aligned with sales forecasts and business goals
Own demand forecasting in collaboration with sales, marketing, category, and merchandising teams
Plan replenishment cycles for warehouses, stores, and online channels
Monitor inventory health including stock cover, ageing, slow-moving and non-moving inventory
Drive optimal inventory turns while maintaining service level targets
Manage SKU-level planning for new launches, seasonal collections, and promotions
Work closely with sourcing, first-mile, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely stock availability
Track and analyze inventory KPIs such as fill rate, stock-outs, excess inventory, and forecast accuracy
Lead inventory liquidation or corrective action plans for ageing stock
Ensure data accuracy in ERP systems and planning tools
Support automation and process improvement initiatives in inventory planning
Eligibility & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
4–8 years of experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or supply chain roles
Experience in retail, e-commerce, fashion, lifestyle, or jewelry industry preferred
Strong understanding of forecasting models, replenishment logic, and inventory control
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
