As a  Senior Product Manager - Technical  in the  Priceless Platform  team, you will be instrumental in managing and improving capabilities across new and existing products, delivering them to both our consumer and B2B2C businesses. This role involves direct ownership of feature delivery to customers, frequent client-facing communications, and close collaboration with Engineers, UX designers, and internal stakeholders across multiple geographies to define and manage product details and user journeys.

You will decompose business and customer requirements into detailed features and functions, work closely with engineering on sprint deliveries, and leverage business needs, market opportunities, and technology trends to drive the platform and product roadmap.
This role is based in Mastercard's Pune office and reports to the Director of Product Management in the US.
Responsibilities  As a Senior Product Manager - Technical, you will:
Product Ownership & Documentation:  Own and manage product documentation, ensuring feature descriptions and associated documentation are clear and easily consumable.
Requirements & Backlog Management:  Elicit and decompose business requirements into platform requirements and user stories, sharing them effectively with engineering teams. Coordinate internal forums to collect and identify feature-level development opportunities and prioritize the backlog.
Acceptance Criteria & Trade-offs:  Define clear acceptance criteria for user stories and recommend trade-off decisions on platform product features, depth of features, and backlog items.
Self-Service & Efficiency:  Enable self-service support and/or work to reduce operational overhead for the product.
Market & User Research:  Utilize research, user studies, metrics, and competitive analysis to understand platform and business needs, informing the product backlog. May participate with the business in customer research to further inform platform product feature needs.
Interdependent Coordination:  Coordinate effectively with interdependent teams on platform product requirements.
User Experience (UX):  Maintain close alignment with the design of the user experience, ensuring a seamless product.
Feature Monitoring & Iteration:  Continuously monitor feature development, adjusting throughout implementation as needed. Review product demos against acceptance criteria for the feature set.
Launch & Post-Launch Management:  Prepare for launches and monitor feature performance, adoption, and operational health for feature sets. Support and participate in post-launch demos and reviews, ensuring feedback is reincorporated into the feature.
Go-to-Market Alignment:  Stay aligned with Go-to-Market (GTM) plans for the feature set.
Issue Resolution:  Identify issues that could prevent platform features from delivering on time or with desired requirements, and work with internal teams and customer service to identify, classify, and prioritize feature-level customer issues.
Experience    Technical Product Management:  

Experience with technical product management and working with development teams.
Platform Background:  Background or experience working with technology or software platforms.
Engineer

Collaboration:

Experience working directly with engineers to define and plan technical features.
Geographical

Collaboration:

Experience working across different geographies.
Client Facing:  Experience working in a partner/client facing role, with frequent client communications.
Industry Knowledge:  Knowledge of e-commerce systems, the Payments space, and API technologies.
AI Features (Ideal):  Ideally, experience working on AI-powered features.
Design Tools (Beneficial):  Experience working with Figma or other design tools would be beneficial.
Learning Agility:  Fast learner on both the technical and business side.
Proactive & Driven:  Proactive approach, operating with a strong sense of urgency and a 'can-do' attitude.
Strategic & Execution-Oriented:  Strategic problem-solver who can balance big-picture strategy with detailed execution.
Organizational

Skills:

Ability to stay organized while handling competing priorities effectively.
Roadmap & Backlog Management:  Extensive hands-on experience with developing technical roadmaps, story outlines, writing user stories, grooming product backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
Analytical

Skills:

Strong analytical skills.
