Job details:

5-10 Years of Experience in application development and design using Progress 4GL/Open

Edge 10.x, 11.x, 12.x concepts (Development Role)

Mandatory

Skills:

 Strong knowledge on Application Design and development.

 Prior experience in technical design documentation, code review and performance

optimization techniques using various progress tools like Promon, Profiler, debugger

etc.

 Strong knowledge of Progress Database concepts (indexes, triggers, database

schema build and maintenance, application performance tuning etc.)

 Exposure to Progress CDC, Pro2, Eclipse/PDSOE, XML parsing etc.

 Experience on team handling and mentoring, taking accountability and ownership of

deliverables

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 Knowledge on ADM, Webservices & App Servers

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

 Strong technical background, willing to learn new tools and technologies

 Experience solely on QAD development/Consulting is not preferred.

Optional skills:

 Knowledge of the US Life Insurance domain will be an added advantage

 Prior Experience in VPAS application development is a definite advantage

 Profiler, Eclipse/PDSOE, Agile, Unit testing using ABLUnit, Sonar Qube, Continuous

Integration, Dev Ops, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins etc.
