Key Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
AWS Organization Management:
Serve as the primary lead for AWS operational tasks, managing core IaaS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS) within a multi-account AWS Organizations structure.
ITSM & ITAM Governance:
Act as the lead administrator for Fresh service, managing the service desk, incident response, and maintaining a real-time inventory of all cloud and system assets.
Infrastructure Deployment:
Maintain and update environment configurations using AWS Cloud Formation templates.
Server Administration & Patching:
Perform routine patching and vulnerability remediation for both Linux and Windows servers using Ivanti.
Access & Troubleshooting:
Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting by accessing servers via AWS Systems Manager (SSM) or other secure protocols to review system logs and performance.
Monitoring & Backups:
Oversee system health and performance via Grafana dashboards and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness using Cohesity.
Responsibilities
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
AWS IaaS Proficiency:
Solid understanding of core AWS services and multi-account management.
Cross-Platform Admin:
Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot both Windows and Linux environments at the command line.
Scripting:
Proficiency in Shell or Bash for automating routine operational workflows.
Tooling Expertise:
Practical experience with Fresh service (or similar ITSM/ITAM tools), Ivanti, Cohesity, and Grafana.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills (Bonus):
Coding:
Proficiency in Python is highly desirable for building custom automation scripts and AWS API integrations.
Certifications:
Active AWS Certifications (e.g., Sys Ops Administrator, Dev Ops Engineer, or Cloud Practitioner) or other relevant cloud certifications.
Multi-Cloud
Experience:
Exposure to other cloud platforms like Azure or GCP is a plus.
