Job Description

The Senior SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions as part of the Digital Platform initiatives. The role requires deep technical expertise in SPFx, SharePoint Modern Experience, Power Platform automation, and M365 integration. The developer will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-focused digital solutions.

Responsibilities

SharePoint Solution Development

Develop custom SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx (React), Type Script, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS

Create custom web parts, extensions, application customizers, and UI enhancements.

Build and customize modern SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, content types, and hub site structures.

Develop advanced workflows and automation using Power Automate.

SharePoint Administration & Support

Manage site collections, permissions, governance policies, and lifecycle management.

Implement best practices around information architecture, metadata, navigation, and site performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to permissions, workflows, UI, performance, or integrations.

Integration & API Development

Implement integrations using Microsoft Graph API, REST API, PnP JS, and Azure services.

Develop secure communication with backend systems using Azure AD app registrations.

Support enterprise content migrations from on-prem or legacy systems using tools like Share Gate/Metalogix.

Quality Assurance & Technical Governance

Ensure coding standards, documentation, and version control practices are followed.

Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

Work closely with Solution Architects to ensure alignment with technical and security standards.

Collaboration & Delivery

Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and convert them into technical designs.

Participate in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.

Provide estimates, risk identification, and solution recommendations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering.
6–10 years of experience in SharePoint development.
Demonstrated expertise in SPFx and Microsoft 365 development.
