Responsibilities
Server Management:
Manage, configure, and maintain both physical and virtualized servers (Linux and Windows)
Install, configure, and manage operating systems and essential services through remote consoles (IPMI, IDRAC, KVM).
Virtualization Expertise:
Work with virtualization tools such as Proxmox, Solus
VM, Virtualizor and Hyper-V.
Network and Tools Management:
Handle tools like cPanel/WHM, Plesk, routers, and switches.
Ensure smooth operations of DNS, email servers, Apache, MySQL/Maria
DB, IIS, and MSSQL.
Protocol and Communication Management:
Expertise in protocols such as SMTP, IMAP, POP3, HTTP, DNS, FTP, and SSH.
Problem Analysis and Resolution:
Monitor hardware, applications, and network status and proactively resolve issues
Scripting and Automation:
Familiarity with scripting languages to automate and streamline processes.
Collaboration and Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients to resolve issues.
Maintain strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges.
People Management and Leadership :
Foster collaboration and manage team performance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Provide mentorship and guidance to teammates through coaching.
Lead technical operations in mission-critical hosting infrastructure environments.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience in a web hosting industry.
Expertise in cPanel/WHM, Plesk, and server environments (Linux and Windows).
Proficiency in on-premise virtualization tools (Proxmox, Solus
VM, Virtualizor)
Have experience with Automation Deployment with Ansible, NOC-PS,
Can monitoring with like Librenms, Zabbix, Icinga2, Grafana/Prometheus/Alert Manager Stack.
Strong understanding of networking and server fundamentals, DNS, and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Marathi/Hindi/English Communication skills.
