About The Opportunity

We are hiring an ETL Test Engineer to join a fast-paced data delivery team that validates complex ETL pipelines and data warehouses used for analytics, reporting and operational systems. You will implement and execute test strategies to ensure data accuracy, transformation correctness and performance across on-prem and cloud data platforms.

Role & Responsibilities

Design, document and execute ETL test cases and test suites covering data validation, transformation logic, reconciliation, and boundary conditions.
Create and manage test data sets, automate data comparisons, and implement end-to-end data reconciliation workflows for source-to-target validation.
Validate ETL mappings/jobs across Informatica/Datastage/SSIS pipelines; verify load success, incremental loads, CDC and error-handling logic.
Perform SQL-based data checks, root-cause analysis for data defects and work with developers to drive timely defect resolution in JIRA or similar trackers.
Execute non-functional testing for ETL performance, throughput and resource usage; provide tuning recommendations and baseline reports.
Contribute to test automation efforts, maintain regression suites and ensure testing best practices are embedded into CI/CD pipelines.
