Data Science Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AI Product Engineer with 3+ years of experience to design and implement advanced AI/ML solutions. The role focuses on developing AI applications and developing cloud-native solutions.

We are looking for a self-driven Data Science Professional to be a key member of our Data & AI Practice. We help many of our clients in building advanced analytics solutions (from traditional ML to deep learning, Computer Vision, Gen AI & Automation). You will work on some of the cutting-edge AI technologies to build meaningful products & solutions.

Requirements

What you will do (Responsibilities):
Perform high-level work both independently and collaboratively as a project member.

Collaborate with Product Management team, elicit AI/ML use case specific requirements, explore and evaluate approaches

Develop Computer Vision, NLP, Deep Learning, multi-modal Gen AI based applications & demos according to the requirements and needs.

Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.

Explore new tools, technologies, frameworks in ML, DL, CV, Gen AI technologies and experiments.

Mentor, guide junior team members

What you bring (Skills):
3+ years of end-to-end project lifecycle experience (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment & Monitoring) in building enterprise grade AI applications

Sound knowledge in Linear Algebra, Statistics, Probability

Strong Knowledge & Experience in Python and Python data science ecosystem:
Pandas, Num Py, Sci Py, scikit-learn, NLTK etc.

Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and/or NLP/NLG frameworks (like Keras, Tensor Flow or PyTorch etc.), Hugging Face Transformers and libraries (like scikit-learn, spacy, CoreNLP etc.)

Knowledge of training and deploying deep learning models for computer vision tasks.

Knowledge of image processing, filtering, object detection frameworks (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN, Mask R-CNN), image segmentation techniques (semantic, instance, panoptic), and image classification.

Sound Knowledge in Generative AI /LLM's models, frameworks, tools & technologies.

Experience in Prompt Engineering & Langchain / Llama Index, Vector search, RAG frameworks, Function Calling, Agentic Frameworks, Document Processing

Experience in Cloud-based services such as AWS (Preferred), Azure or GCP

Experience with async programming and RESTful APIs (FastAPI)

Sound understanding of CI-CD, Containerization & Orchestration

Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills

Great if you know (Skills):

Experience with Scrum and/or other Agile development processes

Exposure to MlOps, LLMOps – model and experiment versioning, hyper parameter tuning, model deployment and monitoring aspects

Sound understanding of data visualization aspects
