Role Overview

We are hiring a Business Unit Head – Consumer Products to lead and scale our Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, and Logistics vertical within a fast-growing global Digital Engineering & IT Services organization.

The organization builds platform-led, data-driven, and AI-enabled solutions for enterprise clients, operating a global delivery model with strong offshore engineering and deep client proximity in the U.S. and Europe.

This role carries full P&L ownership, executive client accountability, and responsibility for building a scalable, high-performance Consumer Products business.

Key Responsibilities

Business Unit Leadership & P&L Ownership

- Own end-to-end P&L for the Consumer Products BU (Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, Logistics).
- Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost optimization.
- Define and execute a vertical-specific growth strategy aligned to digital engineering, data, analytics, cloud, and AI services.

Consumer Products Domain & Solution Leadership

- Provide industry leadership across:
- Retail:
Omnichannel, POS, eCommerce, merchandising, customer experience
- CPG:
Demand forecasting, trade promotion, supply planning
- Manufacturing: ERP modernization, MES, Industry 4.0, plant analytics
- Logistics: WMS, TMS, last-mile optimization, visibility platforms
- Translate domain challenges into platform-led transformation programs.

Executive Client Engagement

- Own CXO-level relationships with global Consumer Products clients.
- Lead executive steering committees, QBRs, and strategic roadmap discussions.
- Act as a trusted advisor for large-scale transformation initiatives.

Revenue Growth & New Business

- Drive organic growth through account mining and wallet expansion.
- Partner with Sales and Pre-Sales on deal shaping, solution positioning, and closures.
- Influence RFP strategy, pricing, commercials, and contracting models.

Delivery Excellence & Governance

- Ensure predictable, high-quality delivery across all Consumer Products engagements.
- Establish delivery governance, KPIs, quality metrics, and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with security, data, and enterprise governance standards.

Talent, Practice & Leadership Development

- Build, scale, and mentor large global teams across delivery, architecture, analytics, and domain consulting.
- Own leadership hiring, succession planning, and capability development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engineering excellence, and innovation.

Global Delivery & Operating Model

- Lead onshore–offshore–nearshore delivery models.
- Optimize utilization, pyramid structures, and cost efficiency.
- Drive standardization across delivery frameworks, platforms, and accelerators

✅ Required Experience & Qualifications

- 18+ years in Digital Engineering / IT Services organizations.
- Proven leadership experience across Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, or Logistics verticals.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership of multi-million-dollar portfolios.
- Strong background in client-funded delivery and global delivery models.
- Experience scaling delivery organizations (100–1000+ people).
- Deep exposure to platform engineering, data & analytics, cloud, and AI-driven programs.
- Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
