Responsibilities
24x7 support.
Support day-to-day network activities, including:
Real time Monitoring operations of all backbone links, WAN/LAN network devices, security devices.
Dedicated Network Surveillance using Client monitoring tools to ensure network performance goals are met.
Maintain consistent IOS release on network devices.
Ensuring continuous operation of servers and services.
Support for Converged Networks Troubleshooting of all network and system related problems.
Update Smart Net information for Cisco network devices.
Respond to incoming tickets, troubleshoot, and escalate, if necessary.
Work with Cisco TAC as and when required.
Analyze and resolve network hardware and software connectivity issues.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all network equipment, circuits, IP addresses.
Maintain accurate network diagrams and associated documentation.
Develop a triage and problem-resolution process.
Standard Report Generation
Interfacing with other teams to scope & get required inputs for troubleshooting.
Maintain SLA monitoring and compliance reporting.
Escalating issues to next level as per define procedures.
Adherence and compliance to the defined processes and tasks assigned.
End user interaction for network issues
CCNA certified candidate is preferred.
Hands on experience on Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, Global Protect VPN, Netbox, thousand-eyes monitoring tool, Zenoss Monitoring tool would be an added advantage.
Hands on experience on Cisco routers/ Switches, Nexus, Cisco WLC's
Should have command on verbal and written English language,
Collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Documenting processes and maintaining knowledge base article in the ticketing system.
