Sr Mgr – Dev Ops Engineering – New Products (Data & Agentic Platforms)

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead and scale cloud-native SaaS production systems with a strong focus on Cloud Engineering, Dev Ops, SRE and Automation Testing. Based in Pune, this role will own the technical execution and operational excellence of multiple SaaS services running in production, including responsibility for reliability, scalability, release safety, and automated quality across versions and environments.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a proven operator. You will lead teams responsible for keeping SaaS platforms stable while moving fast—owning production incidents, rollbacks, debugging complex distributed failures, and building the automation needed to reduce risk and manual effort. You will work closely with Product Engineering and Platform teams to ensure high-quality, continuously delivered software.

Lead and manage engineering teams (typically 8–15 engineers) focused on Dev Ops, Cloud Infrastructure, Automation Testing & SRE for SaaS products.
Own production reliability and operational readiness across multiple SaaS services and versions, including incident response, root cause analysis, and preventative improvements.
Drive rollback strategies, release validation, and version management for complex, continuously deployed SaaS systems.
Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines with strong automated test coverage at unit, integration, system, and end-to-end levels.
Establish automation-first practices for environment provisioning, test execution, deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
Lead debugging and troubleshooting efforts for distributed systems in production, partnering closely with development teams.
Build and evolve cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
Champion SRE principles: SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, resilience testing, and operational metrics.
Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to balance delivery speed with reliability, quality, and operational risk.
Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, raising the bar for operational excellence and engineering discipline.
Act as the point of accountability for production health, escalating risks early and driving corrective action.

To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

10+ years of experience building and operating SaaS products in production environments.
5+ years of engineering leadership experience, managing teams responsible for production systems.
Strong hands-on background in SRE, Dev Ops, and Cloud Engineering (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Demonstrated experience handling production incidents, rollbacks, postmortems, and long-term reliability improvements.
Deep experience with CI/CD systems and automated testing frameworks, with a strong bias toward test automation over manual processes.
