About Position:

We are looking for a highly motivated Scrum Master / Project Manager with a strong foundation in data engineering and analytics to lead Agile teams in delivering scalable, data-driven solutions. This role combines Agile leadership, project management expertise, and technical understanding of data platforms and analytics workflows.

What You'll Do:

- Act as Scrum Master for data engineering and analytics teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) and foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with busiess, Data Engineers, Analysts, and Stakeholders to define and prioritize backlog items aligned with business goals.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely delivery of data solutions and analytics products.
- Drive adoption of Agile best practices and coach team members on Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Monitor and report on key metrics (velocity, burndown charts, backlog health) to stakeholders.
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, BI, Cloud) and business for seamless delivery.
- Maintain strong focus on data governance, quality, and security standards throughout project lifecycle.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable deliverables.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
- Overall 10 plus experience with minimum 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in Agile environments.
- Proven experience managing data-focused projects (Data Engineering, ETL, Data Warehousing, Analytics).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Proficiency in Scrum tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello).
- Good understanding of database like databricks, snowflake
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams on Agile principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with cross-functional and remote teams.
- Knowledge of data management best practices, data governance, and analytics principles.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Data Lifecycle Management.
- Exposure to Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience databricks, snowflake or Refshift database
