GSA - Housekeeping

As a  GSA - Housekeeping , you'll be a vital part of ensuring our guests have a comfortable and immaculate stay. You'll be the first point of contact for guest requests and a key player in maintaining the pristine condition of our public areas and guest rooms. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and support to both guests and your team.
Your Responsibilities    Guest & Departmental Support:  Respond  promptly to requests  from guests and other departments, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
Maintenance & Safety:
Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms to ensure timely repairs.
Post caution signs in relevant areas for safety.
Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs to minimize guest inconvenience.
Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries immediately to your manager.
Complete all required safety training and certifications and properly store flammable materials.
Guest Room Service :
Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested, ensuring a comfortable and functional space.
Area Maintenance & Organization:  Remove items from hallways and transport them to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash placed near Housekeeper carts.
Clean, maintain, and properly store cleaning equipment.
Adherence to Standards:  Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Ensure your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks performed.
Guest Relations:  Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities with genuine care.
Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Teamwork & Communication:  Speak with others using clear and professional language.
Support your team to reach common goals, fostering a collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements   Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
Move up and down a ladder.
Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
