Dispense prescription medications accurately to patients and healthcare providers.
Provide counseling and advice to patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
Monitor patient medication therapies and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances.
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety guidelines related to pharmacy operations.
Manage inventory levels, order medications, and check expiry dates to prevent stock shortages or wastage.
Participate in health promotion activities and educate patients about wellness and disease prevention.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Stay updated with new drugs, treatments, and pharmaceutical developments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D).
Valid pharmacist license or registration as per regulatory authority.
2 to 6 years of relevant experience in retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy settings.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug formulations, and healthcare regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage inventory and pharmacy operations efficiently.
