Position: Director /Professor for Retail Management
SSPU invites applications for the position of  Director – School of Retail Management . We are seeking a dynamic academic leader with strong expertise in retail and e-commerce, combining teaching excellence, research capability, and industry engagement. The role involves academic leadership, curriculum development, faculty mentoring, research promotion, and industry collaboration across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the School of Retail Management
Design, deliver, and oversee undergraduate and postgraduate courses in retail and e-commerce
Develop and update curriculum aligned with industry trends and digital retail transformation
Mentor faculty and guide students on academic progress, projects, internships, and dissertations
Lead and promote research activities and publications in peer-reviewed journals
Foster industry partnerships for live projects, consultancy, internships, and collaborative research
Participate in academic planning, accreditation processes, and university committees

Preferred Skills & Experience
Strong academic and leadership experience in retail and e-commerce domains
Industry collaboration or consultancy experience in retail, e-commerce, or allied sectors
Knowledge of emerging trends in digital retail, AI applications, and e-commerce platforms
Innovative teaching pedagogy with a focus on experiential and student-centric learning
Proven ability to build industry-academia partnerships
