About the Role
As the Practice Leader for Competitive Aptitude Skills, you will occupy a dual-impact role: acting as a strategic administrator for the aptitude department and a master practitioner in the classroom. You will lead a team of trainers in Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability, while also personally delivering high-impact lectures to ensure the highest standards of instruction are met across the university.
Responsibilities
Academic Leadership & Delivery:
Direct Instruction: Conduct high-level lectures on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, or Verbal Ability as per the university’s academic calendar.
Pedagogy
Innovation: Demonstrate "gold standard" teaching techniques for other trainers to emulate, focusing on shortcut methods, mental math, and logical deductions.
Team Supervision:
Manage a team of aptitude trainers, providing regular feedback through classroom observations. Lead weekly faculty syncs to align teaching methodologies across different divisions.
Curriculum & Resource Development:
Design and update the "Competitive Skills" syllabus to stay ahead of evolving corporate assessment patterns (e.g., CAT, GATE, GMAT, and top-tier MNC recruitment tests).
Oversee the creation of high-quality question banks, explanatory videos, and mock test series.
Student Mentorship:
Provide expert counseling to students regarding their career trajectories and preparation strategies for competitive exams.
Strategic Oversight:
Liaise with the Dean and Corporate Relations team to integrate aptitude training with placement schedules. Analyze student performance data to pivot training strategies where necessary.
Qualifications
Education:
Master’s Degree (e.g., MA in English/Maths, MSc, MBA, or M.Tech).
Experience:
8–10 years of proven experience in aptitude training, with at least 3 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
Leadership: Prior experience managing a team of educators or subject matter experts.
Instructional Skill: Must be a dynamic orator capable of engaging large lecture halls and simplifying complex concepts.
Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with exam patterns for CAT, GMAT, GRE, Banking, and Corporate CRT (Campus Recruitment Training).
Required Skills

Preferred Skills
Candidates who have personally cleared high-level competitive exams (e.g., CAT 99th percentile, GMAT 700+).

Pay range and compensation package
Salary: Up to ₹85,000 per month , depending on the candidate's depth of experience and instructional expertise.
