Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled  Accounting Professional  with strong  data entry ,  Tally , and  advanced Excel capabilities  to support key accounting functions. This role is responsible for preparing, coordinating, and reviewing financial accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting the month-end close and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform  data entry  and manage financial data with proficiency in  Excel  and  advanced Excel tools  (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
Prepare, post, and review  journal entries  to ensure accurate recognition of financial transactions.
Perform  balance sheet reconciliations  and identify discrepancies or unusual transactions.
Analyze  financial transactions and variances , proactively identifying issues and recommending solutions.
Prepare accurate and timely  cash forecasting statements .
Support the  month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close  processes to meet reporting deadlines.
Prepare comprehensive  financial reports  and support internal and external  audits .
Ensure all accounting data and analyses are  accurate, timely, and compliant  with relevant accounting standards and policies.
Maintain a high level of  proficiency in financial systems , including  Tally , and other desktop applications used by the organization.
Monitor and manage  accounting close responsibilities  independently and efficiently.
Stay up to date with  financial accounting and regulatory requirements  and ensure adherence to internal policies.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in  Microsoft Excel , including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
Proficiency in  Tally  and other accounting software.
Solid understanding of  financial accounting principles and practices .
Experience in  journal entries, reconciliations, forecasting, and reporting .
Excellent  analytical and problem-solving skills .
Ability to manage  multiple systems and data flows .
Strong  written and verbal communication skills .
Ability to  work independently and collaboratively  within a team.
Working knowledge of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) accounting, including deductions, filing, and returns.
Understanding  of salary payable processes, payroll accounting, and related statutory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree  in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
