About the Company:

Brightroute Consulting is a leading education sector company specialising in providing comprehensive services for studying abroad.

Roles & Responsibilities :

● Maintain accurate books of accounts including journal entries, sales, purchases, and general ledger entries.

● Handle day-to-day accounting operations using Tally.

● Manage bill booking, expense tracking, and vendor payments.

● Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.

● Prepare and reconcile GST returns, TDS returns, and supporting documentation.

● Coordinate with Chartered Accountants (CA) and auditors for audits, statutory filings, and return submissions.

● Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash and bank balances.

● Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents for audits and compliance.

● Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

Skills &

Qualifications:

● Proficiency in Tally accounting software.

● Strong working knowledge of Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas).

● Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance requirements.

● Basic knowledge of statutory audits and accounting standards.

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.

● Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, CAs, and auditors.

● Good organizational and time-management skills.

● Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
