Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Executive for our Record to Report (R2R) team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Your primary focus will be on month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and liaising with various departments to facilitate smooth financial operations. You will also assist in improving processes and workflows within the R2R function.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports.
Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
Conduct account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze financial data.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.

Skills And Tools Required

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.

Experience with automated financial processes and reporting tools is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in R2R or general accounting roles, typically 3-5 years.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
