Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Pune. The role entails responsibility for financial reporting, tax compliance, and auditing activities. Tasks include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax returns, conducting audits, analyzing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with various legal and regulatory requirements. The Senior Accountant will also provide financial advice, contribute to management reports, and assist in optimizing accounting processes.

Qualifications

Proficient in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Analysis
Expertise in Tax Compliance, Direct and Indirect Taxation, and Return Filing
Experience in Auditing, Assurance, and Risk Management
Proficient in Accounting Standards and Management Consultancy
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in accounting software and tools; advanced Excel skills are a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is required
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
