We are seeking a meticulous and proactive  In-House Accountant  based in  Pune  to manage our daily financial operations. This role is critical in supporting our fast-paced environment by ensuring financial accuracy and compliance as we scale our global operations.

The Role

As the In-House Accountant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting functions of the company. You will work closely with the management team to maintain financial integrity, manage high-ticket B2B transactions, and ensure all statutory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, including ledgers, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
Statutory Compliance:
Ensure timely filing and payment of all statutory dues, including GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and Income Tax.
Expense Management:
Oversee vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements, ensuring alignment with company policies.
Payroll Support:
Partner with the HR Director to ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget-vs-actual analyses for management review.
Audit Coordination:
Prepare necessary documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.

Candidate Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter or M. Com preferred).

Experience:

3–6 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within a high-growth startup or a service-oriented B2B company.
Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or Quick Books) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Compliance Knowledge:
Deep understanding of Indian statutory regulations, including GST, TDS, and labor laws.
Attributes:
High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Based in or willing to work from Pune, India.
