About

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team  role requires expertise in construction and real estate accounting, with proven experience in contractor/vendor payments, project financial management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing end-to-end accounts independently, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting to management.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
Manage contractor/vendor billing and payments, verifying work progress and ensuring timely disbursements.
Maintain accurate records of project costs, budgets, and WIP (Work-in-Progress).
Prepare and finalize monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, RERA, PF, ESIC, and Income Tax regulations.
Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory and internal audits.
Generate MIS reports, project cost reports, and cash flow statements for management.
Monitor project-level financial performance and support budgeting & forecasting.
Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure effective financial controls.

Requirements

Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
5–7 years of experience in accounting with mandatory exposure to construction/real estate projects.
Strong knowledge of contractor/vendor payments and project-based accounting.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel (advanced), and accounting/reporting tools (Strategic ERP).
In-depth understanding of real estate compliance (RERA, GST, TDS, etc.).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to handle deadlines and work independently with accuracy.
