* Position Overview:

** The Imaging Services Manager leads the day-to-day operations of Imaging services, ensuring safe, efficient, patient-centered care and reliable throughput. This role manages staffing, scheduling, daily workflow, competency, and frontline performance, and serves as the operational engine of the department. The Manager partners with the Director to meet quality, service, financial, and regulatory goals.
** A Day in the Life:
*** Oversee day-to-day operations across modalities and locations; ensures smooth patient flow and timely imaging services.
* Coordinates daily assignments, workload balance, and staffing adjustments based on volume and acuity.
* Ensures reliable processes for patient preparation, imaging protocols, contrast administration support (as applicable), critical results communication, and escalation.
* Builds and manages schedules, call rotations, and coverage plans; anticipates gaps and implements contingencies.
* Supports recruitment, onboarding, training, and competency validation; ensures appropriate cross-training.
* Works with the Director on staffing plans and productivity expectations.
* Supports ongoing QC/QA processes, including working with modality leads during ACR re-accreditation periods, documentation standards, infection prevention practices, and safety requirements (including radiation/contrast safety).
* Monitors and responds to operational quality indicators: repeats, delays, errors, near-misses, patient complaints, throughput metrics, and turnaround times.
* Participates in audits, readiness activities, and corrective actions; maintains dependable compliance routines.
* Provides clear expectations, coaching, and accountability for staff performance and behavior.
* Conducts 1:1s, rounding, and regular feedback; addresses performance concerns promptly and consistently using established HR processes.
** About You!
**** This Job is For You if You Have:
*** Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences or related healthcare field required (or equivalent combination per policy).
* Minimum three years imaging experience with at least 1–2 years in a lead/supervisory/management role preferred.
* Relevant licensure/certification as applicable (e.g., ARRT/ARDMS, Washington state license) per modality and organizational requirements.
* Demonstrated competence in staffing, scheduling, team leadership, and operational problem-solving.
