About the Role:

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, processing, and monitoring outgoing shipments to ensure accurate, timely delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to support efficient logistics operations and maintain inventory integrity.

Hours & Pay

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay Range: $20-$25/hr.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and coordinate outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery
  • Plan and manage logistics to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Prepare, review, and process shipment documentation, including invoices and shipping paperwork
  • Verify order accuracy prior to shipment to ensure quality and completeness
  • Track shipments and maintain accurate status updates within company systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve shipping claims in collaboration with affected brands
  • Document, report, and follow up on inventory damage or discrepancies
  • Purchase, monitor, and maintain shipping supplies as needed
  • Receive materials and coordinate transfers between departments
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as required
  • Provide backup support within the department and assist the FGW Leader with additional tasks as assigned
Working Environment
  • 75% Office environment
  • 25% Manufacturing environment (clean, low to moderate noise; PPE such as safety glasses required)
Requirements

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse role is preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of logistics or shipping software is a plus
  • Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office or similar)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective time management and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment
Travel Requirements
  • Occasional travel between sister company locations
