We are seeking an Ethics and Compliance Specialist and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The role manages the implementation and continuation of processes related to the HCA Ethics and Compliance Program and Volunteer & Chaplain Services.
Responsibilities- Work with the CEO to assure implementation of policies, procedures, and programs.
- Monitor all aspects of the corporate Ethics & Compliance program and all future modifications or additions.
- Actively work with Administrative Team and Department Directors to resolve identified Ethics and Compliance issues and investigate issues as needed.
- Ensure Code of Conduct orientation training for new employees, contractors, and volunteers and maintain records of training.
- Coordinate and oversee annual refresher Code of Conduct training and maintain records of training.
- Work with Department Directors to assure completion of required education for coders, billers, rehab, laboratory staff, and others as needed.
- Audit physician’s contracts, HR personnel files, and ER transfers for EMTALA compliance.
- Coordinate the Chaplaincy Program.
- Coordinate the Junior & Senior Volunteer Program.
- Manage the PBX Department.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience.
Full‑time, days only, no weekends.
LocationLewis Gale Hospital Pulaski, Pulaski, Virginia. The hospital has provided quality healthcare services since 1915 and boasts a 140+ bed facility offering a full scope of medical services, including a Regional Cancer Center and accredited chest pain center.
