Department: Accounting
Reports To: Accounting Manager
Overall Responsibility: Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; help to maintain financial compliance through accurate accounting of company expenses
Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, bending
Classification: Exempt
KeyJob Duties
- Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocation, and posting transactions
- Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries
- General Ledger management - Journal entry understanding
- Communicates with Accounting Manager, Purchasing Manager, and vendors as necessary
- Manages AP and AR accounts
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
- Maintains regular and prompt attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Data entry skills
- Quick Books experience preferred
- Netsuite experience a plus
- Odoo experience a plus
- Problem Solving
- Dealing with complexity
- Reporting research results
- Attention to detail
- Confidentiality
- Thoroughness
