Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Contact regular and prospective customers within the Alabama territory to demonstrate products and solicit orders.
• Identify prospective customers using various outreach methods
• Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, and availability.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and interests.
• Perform follow‑up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate with the GBP design team for custom product designs and/or samples.
• Arrange and direct product deliveries.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity within the territory.
• Perform administrative duties such as preparing sales reports, maintaining records, and filing expense reports.
• Obtain credit information for prospective customers.

• Knowledge of selling principles and customer service practices.
• 5+ years of selling experience preferred.
• Understanding of the paper industry, design, and departmental capabilities.
• Awareness of industry trends and changing market conditions.
• Skilled in marketing and sales presentations.
• Experience conducting meetings and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support sales efforts.
