Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Department (ER) – Part‑Time Night

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Pulaski is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. As an ER RN, you will provide direct patient care in a fast‑paced emergency department, supporting the mission of making communities healthier.
How You’ll Contribute- Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

- Education:
Associate’s degree required. BSN preferred. - Required skills:
Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. - Certifications:
Must obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE within 90 days of hire; HWC within 6 months of hire. TNCC preferred, ENPC preferred. - Licenses:
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee or a licensed RN from a Compact State with Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
