PositionRegistered Nurse (RN), Emergency Department (ER) — Part-Time | Night
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus available to well qualified applicants
How You'll Contribute- Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

- Education:
Associate's degree required. BSN preferred. - Required Skills:
Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision; able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. - Certifications:
BLS within 90 days of hire; ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE within 90 days; HWC within 6 months. TNCC and ENPC preferred. - Licenses:
Licensed Registered Nurse in Tennessee or a Compact State with Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
STRHS - Pulaski is part of the Southern Tennessee Regional Health System, serving Giles County and the surrounding area with a 95-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care facility and affiliated physician practices.
The Pulaski area offers a southern Middle Tennessee setting, located about 60 miles south of Nashville and 50 miles north of Huntsville, with proximity to colleges and local amenities and a range of parks and recreational opportunities.
