• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of anatomy.
• Show mastery of image quality, radiographic positioning, technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control and quality control techniques.
• Communicate to patients the nature of the tests and relieve their anxiety.
• Present a pleasant and helpful manner to patients, physicians, subordinates and other department staff.
• Assist in maintaining a work area free from hazards.
• Perform routine diagnostic imaging studies as needed; vary work schedule.
• Provide services to all patient populations (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric).
• Ensure patient examinations are performed accurately and timely; not to exceed 30 minutes.
• Maintain efficient use of time, report availability accordingly and display willingness to assist others; consistently display teamwork.
• Apply knowledge to produce high‑quality diagnostic images meeting or exceeding department guidelines.

• Education:
  
  High school graduate or equivalent.
• Currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (verification required).
• Certifications:
  
  BLS required.
