Position Summary

We are hiring for our January training class, with employment beginning on 1/5/26. The role is a Sales Associate position that offers the opportunity to drive personal income potential to six figures. The newly hired associate will participate in the Richmond American Homes Peak Sales Training program, which includes orientation, systems training, job shadowing, and selling. The program is designed for all skill levels and graduates within 4–10 weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Train on policies and procedures through self‑led exercises, instructor‑led training, and shadowing of experienced new home sales associates.
  • Travel between communities as needed to support staff and development initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Network and prospect new sales opportunities.
  • Understand the customer experience touchpoints to maintain quality customer service and guide buyers through the new home sales process.
  • Complete accurate and timely contract paperwork—required before promotion to Sales Associate.
  • Obtain and analyze market data critical for maintaining community competitiveness.
  • Maintain standard sales office hours while remaining flexible to meet customer schedules.
  • Successfully complete required company training, procure required sales units, and obtain approval for promotion to Sales Associate.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience;
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • Real Estate License required in all states except CO, MD, TX, & VA.
  • Previous high‑end sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to connect with people and develop professional relationships.
  • Action‑oriented individuals with a drive to close sales successfully.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for community driving.
  • All new hires will attend a week of sales training at our corporate office in Denver, CO during the first month of employment.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $27.50 per hour during the training program.
  • Estimated Annual Compensation with Commissions: $115,000 – $150,000.
  • FLSA Status:
    Non‑Exempt.
  • Bonus Type:
    None.
