Registered Nurse; Community Living Center

Position: Registered Nurse (Community Living Center)
The Registered Nurse will deliver fundamental knowledge-based care to assigned clients while developing technical skills and will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care based on age-specific components.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice and determine the appropriate delegation of tasks consistent with the nurse's obligation to provide optimal care.

* Focus on individual growth and development in practice with increased levels of self-direction.

* Ability to formulate a plan of care based on nursing assessments.

* Seek guidance in how to improve care provided to residents and families.

* Bring principles and theory with limited application of critical thinking.

* Seek documentation guidance from the Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinator to ensure accuracy of the Resource Utilization Group (RUG) score.

Pay:
Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards

Work Schedule:

Full-Time, 6:00pm-6:30am

* Night Differential Pay:
The period commencing at 6:00pm and ending 6:00am will receive additional pay for each hour worked provided 4 or more hours fall between that time. When fewer than 4 hours fall between those hours, the differential is payable only for the hours worked between that time. This equals 10% of your basic hourly rate.

* Weekend Pay (Premium Pay for work on Saturday & Sunday):
Any part of which is between 12:00am Friday and 1200am Sunday is worked. This equals 25% of your basic hourly rate.
