The Clinical Training Director plays a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality, safe, and compassionate care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. - Full‑time, salary, exempt ($58,000/ year)
- Minimum hours: 8am-4pm Monday thru Thursday with on‑call week every 4-6 weeks
- Must work well independently and within a team
- Must communicate professionally with interdisciplinary team members
- Must maintain driver standards per insurance and State requirements
- Must pass background checks in accordance with company policy and State regulations
- Has the ability to multitask, is clean and organized, and has a fine attention to detail
- Has the ability to work under pressure and high‑stress scenarios
- Has the ability to work with and supervise many different personality types
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, kneel, stoop, bend, crouch, reach, grasp, pinch, and twist
- Must be able to drive company vehicle and operate wheelchair lift, including the loading and unloading of passengers
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess valid Colorado Driver’s license
- Must successfully complete Core In‑Service Training and ongoing training as required (training provided by employer)
- Must maintain CPR/First Aid certification and status as a certified CPR/First Aid Instructor
- Must possess and maintain a nursing license (LPN, RN) in Colorado
- Must communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Spends approximately 60% of time supervising and training Direct Support Professionals and Direct Support Supervisors.
- Ensures agency policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
- Ensures agency mission and core values are incorporated into the everyday actions of employees.
- Completes facility monitoring visits as scheduled, and ensures necessary follow‑up is completed.
