Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $29.54 - $47.26 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary:
Coordinates identified organizational efforts to ensure patient safety, risk mitigation, and compliance with patient safety regulatory standards. Supports hospital Patient Experience initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Administers patient safety rounds, plans and programs. Develops communications regarding safety, accreditation, and regulatory performance requirements and initiatives. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution.
  • Promotes and educates on patient safety. Collects data and collaborates with leaders to identify and recommend system changes. Assists with establishing indicators to monitor compliance with goals and action plans.
  • Provides assistance in reporting of risk management, patient complaints, and patient safety outcomes related data. Analyzes and reports on data related to adverse incidents and patient safety measures.
  • Coordinates the investigation and analysis of adverse events. Conducts proactive root cause analyses and risk assessments.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 3 years of related experience. Preferred: 2 years of experience in leadership activities.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
