We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join a renowned manufacturing facility in Pueblo, Colorado. This role is responsible for developing new industrial processes and modifying existing systems to improve operational performance, reliability, and production efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
* Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems (hardware and software) to improve production efficiency, quality, reliability, and automation
* Analyze, modify, and optimize PLC and HMI systems across the full steel production lifecycle, from raw material processing through finished product
* Provide hands-on support and ownership of process control system issues, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement
* Develop technical documentation, requirements, and system architecture related to control systems and automation projects
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automated Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent technical education
* 5+ years of experience in automation or controls engineering within an industrial environment
* Strong technical aptitude in industrial control systems and problem-solving
* Effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
