Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout warehouse areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.;
Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation as required, and directing visitors, drivers, and vendors according to site procedures.;
Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV and alarm panels as assigned, and complete shift logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details.
