* SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION*
Set-up, adjust and check patterns before and after they are mounted on the molding lines. Must be self‑motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment. Must be able to operate a forklift and use of triloader to pull and haul patterns from storage to setup area either for greensand mold line or no‑bake as needed for daily schedule requirements, then haul patterns back to storage and put them in the correct storage locations.
Uses compressed air to blow off sand. Push/Pull pattern pieces into position. Use a hoist to set pattern pieces. Use an impact to secure pattern to mold cart. Punch in correct pattern number. Perform other duties as needed. This position may be classified as a lead person and will perform job duties as assigned.
Keep work area clean and orderly. Know safety rules that apply to the safety of others and to personal safety. Attendance & work performance will be considered. Perform other work as instructed by supervisor.
