Gel Coat Operator; B

Performs all duties in an efficient manner to ensure all products are manufactured to meet customer needs. Follows all procedures as applicable. Promotes a safe work environment. Compounds batches of gel coat, putty, and colorants and packages for shipment.

• Must be capable of comprehending and demonstrating work instructions and procedures
• Accurately weighs and charges chemical additives
• Transfers base resins from containers or bulk storage to production vessels
• Safely operates equipment to compound gel coats, colorants, and puttys in accordance with work instructions
• Packages finished goods into containers
• Performs housekeeping as assigned
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Punctuality and regularity of attendance are job requirements

• High school education
• Must be capable of operating a forklift
• Must be organized
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
