Master Craftsman​/Lead Construction Technician

Thaddeus Construction is seeking a MASTER EXPERT / jack-of-all-trades to independently complete residential remodels in Salt Lake and Utah Counties (occasionally Wasatch County). Primary projects include bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and whole-home remodels.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and can be trusted to complete projects start to finish — efficiently, correctly, and beautifully — with minimal supervision.

You must be highly skilled in framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical, painting, tile, and finish work, and able to manage all aspects of a project independently.

Thaddeus Construction provides a fully equipped trailer with all tools — you must have a way to transport product (truck highly recommended).

• Complete residential remodels start to finish independently (bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and whole-home projects)
• Perform all trades: framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical, painting, tile, and finish carpentry
• Execute demo, waterproofing, tile installation, and trim/finish work
• Manage job flow efficiently from rough work through final finish
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Properly care for company trailer and tools
• Troubleshoot problems in the field and implement solutions
• Communicate progress, material needs, and issues to project management/ownership
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and local building codes
• Protect client homes and maintain professional conduct on site
• Travel to job sites primarily in Salt Lake and Utah Counties, occasionally Wasatch County

Required Skills & Experience

• Master-level proficiency in all construction trades: framing, drywall (hang, tape, texture, repair), plumbing, electrical, painting, tile, and finish carpentry
• Ability to complete projects start to finish independently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Reliable, self-motivated, and dependable
• Professional and respectful in occupied homes
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must have a way to transport product (truck highly recommended)

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with bathroom, kitchen, or basement remodels
• Experience pulling and managing a work trailer
• Portfolio or photos of past projects (before/after photos preferred)
