Part-Time Quality Control (QC) Inspector
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time QC Inspector to perform repetitive inspections using standardized methods and procedures. This role is responsible for visually inspecting and verifying parts using precision measuring instruments or fixed samples, ensuring all dimensions and finishes meet blueprint and work order specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Sample and inspect finished goods and raw materials
- Conduct daily production walkthroughs and internal audits
- Perform CP/CPK capability studies
- Attend weekly IP meetings and monthly department/company meetings
- Recognize team members by submitting iPoints
- Pull random samples for raw material and finished goods inspections
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards:
- Visual inspections
- Geometric/dimensional inspections
- Functional inspections
- Report non-conformities and inspection results in the database
- Conduct capability studies
- Destroy scrapped parts
Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma required; some college preferred. Associate degree is a plus but not required.
Experience:
At least six months of Quality Control experience preferred.
Required Skills
- Ability to read measurements from a caliper and learn additional measuring devices
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Solid math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, convert fractions)

- Hydraulic press
Working Conditions
Physical Demands
- Standing for the majority of the shift
- Occasional sitting, bending, or reaching
- Lifting up to 100 lbs

- Ability to follow instructions carefully
- Strong attention to detail
