As a Manufacturing Technician – Level 1 or Level 2 located in Promontory, UT, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.

This position is 100 onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. We are excited for you to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. Our domain provides rewarding work that contributes to the latest advancements being made in the missile defense industry. This position will work a 4/10 schedule, with every Friday off.

Responsibilities
  • Follows established planning or work instructions.
  • Conducts hands‑on work of ingredient preparation, mixing, and casting of large motor segments.
  • Conducts hands‑on work of building, lining, loading, and final assembling of specialty product components and ensures they meet customer specifications.
  • Must be responsible for meeting production targets while following safety and quality procedures.
  • Makes operator‑controlled repairs as required.
  • Must pass all job‑specific or specialised certification programs required for core tasks or specialised assignments.
  • Must be willing to work off shifts on occasion.
  • Must be willing to perform work on weekends and holidays as required.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications for Level 1
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
  • 0-2+ years of manufacturing (product assembly) experience.
  • Able to work a physically demanding day (stand for long periods; work from your knees; ascend and descend ladders; lift, bend, twist, push and pull up to 50 lbs.).
  • Able to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions without deviation.
  • Perform basic math and measurement functions.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Basic Qualifications for Level 2
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing (product assembly) experience.
  • Able to work a physically demanding day (stand for long periods; work from your knees; ascend and descend ladders; lift, bend, twist, push and pull up to 50 lbs.).
  • Able to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions without deviation.
  • Perform basic math and measurement functions.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Operating industrial equipment such as cranes, forklifts, precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Makes operator‑controlled repairs as required.
  • Successful candidate must be able to pass a background check for the Federal Safe Explosives Act (SEA).
